The Undoing Evil Interview - Paul Hoffman and Murder In Wauwatosa - The Mysterious Death of Buddy Schumacher

Paul Hoffman has been searching for answers since the fifth grade.

In his first published book, Murder In Wauwatosa - The Mysterious Death of Buddy Schumacher, Hoffman travels back in time to 1925 small town Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, to try and unravel the mystery of 8 year-old Arthur "Buddy" Schumacher's death at the hands of an unknown assailant, as he went out one summer day to go swimming with friends. Digging into long forgotten archives and crime reports, Hoffman uncovers information and asks questions that drive him deeper into a mystery that has, for this small town, been a question mark for nearly one hundred years.

Hoffman is no stranger to Wauwatosa, having lived there as a child and young adult. At a young age, Paul learned, in a most peculiar way, of the terrible tragedy that befell Buddy, and questions about the circumstances surrounding his death stayed with him for decades, until the day he decided to find out if there was any truth to the rumors. As information about the horrifying crime began to come to light, Hoffman knew there was more to the story, and he set out to find it. Painstaking research, interviews with relatives and surviving members of the Wauwatosa community that grew up with Buddy, before his tragic death, shed new light on an old but familiar tale of a life stolen before its' time.

Having spent over thirty years as a journalist, Paul Hoffman knew where to go to look for answers, travelling to the locations where the events took place, reaching out to people who were able to help him answer long-standing questions regarding Buddy, his murder and who could have committed such a terrifying crime that shook a peaceful, Midwestern community to its' core.
